Casual Friday — using Google Street View to look at the world’s tallest building, inside and out

The Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building at 828 meters (2,717 feet) is an impressive sight — but let’s face the facts.  Most of us will never get the opportunity to see it in person.

Fortunately for armchair tourists, Google has started photographing the insides of some prominent public buildings with their Street View gear.  Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at what it took to make this happen (direct link):
