Seen at the Kansas Cosmosphere, it’s a V-1 cruise missile:
I know I’ve talked about the V-1 before, but thought this was such a well-restored specimen that it deserved its own post (rather than hiding it down in an update to the earlier post). The Kansas Cosmosphere is rare in that it has an example of both the V-1 and V-2. The flip side of this is that its display galleries are getting a bit cozy — so you can see this item from up close, but you have to work in order to get it all in a single image. This is actually a panorama, stitched together from three separate wide-angle photos.
