Casual Friday — a quick introduction to the astrolabe

With over a thousand uses, from telling time to surveying, the astrolabe is a wonder of Greek and early Arab technology — if this video doesn’t convince you that the ancients were just as intelligent and resourceful as us moderns, you need to watch it again!
