We are coming up to a crisis that could mean the total collapse of Industrial "Civilization". I wrote about this recently and you can find the paper in the upcoming "Before Farming" on-line journal. This is not a joke. Within the next twenty years we may well face a near extinction event. Please check this out for yourselves: the paper has as many live links as I could fit into it and if you go over them all it will take about two days to get through the material.
