Casual Friday — Grappling with Hubble

If you’re looking at this blog (or its RSS stream), you’re also most likely following news of the latest (and almost certainly last) servicing mission to the Hubble Space Telescope (a.k.a., HST). But just in case you have been limited to television coverage of all this activity, here’s a nice bit of video covering the early stages of things — approaching and grabbing HST, with some nice shots of the telescope against the background of the Earth.

Don’t be put off by the clip’s length. There’s a big chunk in the middle of this video (from about 3:30 to 5:00) where there’s little going on, you can safely skip that…
