Casual Friday — an eclipse of the Sun, as seen from the Moon!
This video has been cross-posted all over the internet, so you may well have seen it already. Still, on the off chance that you haven’t, here’s a solar eclipse as seen by Japan’s KAGUYA spacecraft orbiting the moon:
The video was taken on February 10th, and shows the beautiful eclipse “diamond ring” at its beginning — appropriate, I guess, for video shot just days before Valentine’s Day.
