Casual Friday — Explore Mars in your pajamas

If you’ve been paying any attention at all to the internet over the past few days, you’ve heard the great new news about Google Earth — it now displays Mars images! What this means is that you can now explore Mars, zooming in and flying around, from the comfort of your own home. So far it includes just a taste of the high-resolution imagery that recent spacecraft have returned, but more is on the way.

I just downloaded Google Earth 5 to play with this stuff myself — if you haven’t done the same already, I’d highly recommend the download!
